April 7,
After that kick i had two more experiences. First on the 22nd I had to go to the IMI campus for the calcutta interview. The most interesting feature of the interview was me myself. I bumped into something or someone at least 6 six times inside the interview room. Then the fellows told me that they required the pay slips. So back I went to my office and got the stuff for them. The interview was the most amazing thing. They asked me questions and I was at my silent best. They felt that all that was not enough so they decided on some icing on the cake and started of with a maths question. Now I had given them many I don't knows so I decided to do something different. I sat there silent doing nothing. Once in a while I gave some murmurs as if I was in some deep thought about the problem. Finally the guys got so pissed up that they showed me the door.
Then the last interview was at the MDI campus. I must say that it was the most disappointing one of my life. I was to report at 12.30 and the whole process was over at around 4. But what stood out was the fellow who took my interview. He actually took a nap while my interview was going on. Then these guys asked you to prepare a short note after the gd was over. And I as usual was not able to complete the whole stuff.
Finally I got my second result. I am not destined to be a junior of Rahul. The c and l results are expected any time now and I have given up on that. The worst part is that you really feel that the interviews and the gds were excellent and then the results come out to give you a royal shock.
Well things have been interesting even otherwise I have been having some very tight schedules. We are supposed to have scheduled time of about 8 and a half hours. But we spend at least 9 + hrs in the office. And we are also entitled to home drops and that means that you are the last to be dropped off. So a it takes me at least 1 hr to reach home from office which in the normal course should not take more than 10 mins. Apart from that if you are lucky then there will be some one who would get late due to some reason or the other. So the point is that you often end up spending about 12-13 hours in the office.
And apart from that you are supposed to handle a minimum number of calls per day. Unfortunately for me I never ever end up handling that many no. of calls so I end up coming an extra day.
So that's how I am doing these days. There will be lots of you who would be pissed up with me for not being in touch. For all such guys I have only one answer. I will try to make amends. Till such a time come pls make up with my mails.
Take care,
Shijo
