Hi guys, 17 Feb,

It’s about 2 in the afternoon and I just had a reasonably heavy lunch from the canteen. By the way I at my office doing nothing.

I had been surfing from about 10 in the morning. The whole experience has been quite dampening. I had been going through a couple of IQ sites and the scores have been quite different from what I thought would be a reasonable measure of my intelligence.

Well as I am typing this whole sequences boring bytes I am seeing something Xtremely touching. A TSA who's one batch junior to me is guiding his family around the office. He has a whole bunch of relatives who seem awed by the surroundings.

This whole thing set me thinking. I intend to go ahead despite the bad breath that comes out due to your yawns. I worked in three different companies and got a job in another and not once did I even think of taking my family members to some place. Now looking back I feel that people get what they deserve.

Another interesting site that I went to was the coolavenues.com. Its possibly amongst the best I have seen in my life. I read a few mails on ISB. A mail supposedly from a chap from ISB was simply great. I mean the size. It was something that would fetch the title of a reasonably well written mail esp in terms of size. The issue of ISB definitely generates some very heated passion and it was there to see. If possible do check it out.

The few days have been pretty frustrating for me. For a while I thought that I was being singled out for all the bad calls possible. In fact I got three calls on the same XP issue spent at least two hours each and each time had the cust hang up in disgust. Even now I don't have the solution to the prob.

Then in another instance I got a very creepy call. After spending about an hour during which I made him boot to various creepy modes and removed his mouse drivers. Then I had to make him do all the work with just the keyboard. And some of work included fiddling with the registry that is complex in the best of times. I fixed up the prob despite all that but as I hung up I forgot to get him out of the diagnostic modes. The fellow will now give a call back and I end up with a 0 FTR for all the efforts.

Now despite my feeling bad I must admit that the Americans are perhaps the most polite people in the world. Had I been taking the calls for the Indian customers then I would have left the job long back but these guys just go on with you even when it becomes very obvious that you are making a mistake.
